Kevin Barry

PhD Student

Kevin Barry is a PhD Student in the Department of Atmospheric Science in the Kreidenweis Research Group. Kevin has a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from the University of Miami, and a Master’s degree in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University, where he graduated in 2019.

His current and recent research projects are interdisciplinary, often involving aerosol sampling and laboratory analysis techniques, with a focus on ice-nucleating particles and microbial composition in the changing Arctic. Kevin is excited to join the BROADN team and further his wide-ranging interests in the atmosphere around us. 

Kevin enjoys being active, which can include tennis, bowling, museums (big aviation enthusiast), learning something new, volunteering, and building meaningful friendships.
