Marissa Gay

Data Management

Marissa Gay is excited to be working on the data management team for BROADN! She graduated from CSU in Spring 2024 with a Bachelor’s in Biology with a minor in Statistics. During this time, Marissa worked in many different fields of animal care, as well as an undergraduate research job in the VandeWoude lab, where she continues to provide research assistance. Her undergraduate research looked at Oxford Nanopore Technologies and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. 

Additionally, Marissa has spent time interning and volunteering in women’s health and intellectual disability services. She has a passion for healthcare, whether that be human or animal health, and enjoys exploring the overlap between these two fields. Outside of this, Marissa spends time gardening, reading and being outdoors with her two pets.
